It’s Slow Cooker Season!
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Neil Powell to make a hearty, warming, melt-in-the-mouth Chuck Steak & Ale Slow Cooker Meal, perfect for delicious easy weekday cooking!
Serve with your favourite veg and mash for the ultimate winter warming dish.
All you need is:
- 450g lean beef or chuck steak, diced
- 1 packet of Schwartz beef and ale slow cooker seasoning
- 1 white onion, diced
- 175g chantenay carrots
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 250ml brown ale, we used Newcastle Brown Ale
- 50ml water
Recipe (makes 4 servings):
Place the diced onion, carrots and meat into your slow cooker before mixing in the seasoning, water, brown ale and tomato puree. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. When cooked, season to taste and enjoy! 😋
